About this product

The Unitree Go2 EDU is the research- and developer-grade quadruped of the Go2 family, purpose-built for robotics R&D, education and autonomy development. Across its tiered versions (Standard, Smart, Laser Smart and Ultimate) it pairs the proven 12-motor Go2 platform with an onboard AI compute dock of 40 to 100 TOPS, a long-life 15000mAh battery for 2–4 hours of operation, and full secondary-development support including robot models, simulation interfaces and Isaac Sim compatibility.

Every EDU unit ships with a wide-angle 3D LiDAR for obstacle avoidance, a wide-angle HD camera, an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera, 4G/eSIM connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, and a handheld remote with fast charger. Higher tiers add navigation-grade 3D LiDAR (Livox Mid-360 on Laser Smart, Hesai XT16 on Ultimate, each with navigation algorithms), while an optional D1 servo arm extends manipulation. With a ~8 kg payload (10 kg limit), 0–3.7 m/s speed, 40° climbing and comprehensive development manuals plus ecosystem support, the Go2 EDU is well suited to SLAM, navigation, perception and multi-robot research deployments.
